In a recent article for AZ Animals, questions were posed about stegosaurus’. The answer was deduced thanks to a famous stegosaurus uncovered in Dinosaur National Monument.The Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is home to the stegosaurus that scientists uncovered between 1920 and 1922 from Dinosaur National Monument. According to National Park Services, the display shows the stegosaurus with staggered plates down its back, as they likely would have been in real life. Despite the notoriety of Dinosaurs there is so much we are still learning about them.
