Buckle Up For Wild Spring Weather

Buckle up for some wild spring weather this week. Today, a winter storm hits eastern Utah and western Colorado bringing mountain snow and strong winds to the region. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for parts of the region from Tuesday at 6am to Wednesday at 6am. National Weather Service shares that a wind advisory is also in place for western Colorado from 11am to 7pm today for gusts over 45 mph. Winter Weather Advisories are also in effect focused on northwestern Colorado and the higher terrain of Western Colorado with over a foot of snow accumulations expected in the mountains by Wednesday. Another Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Flaming Gorge and north to the Rock Springs area. Travel could be difficult and all in the areas especially hit by the storm are encouraged to stay home.
