An annual charity golf tournament raised funds for a very special local cause this summer. The Uintah Basin Medical Center Golf Classic held at the Roosevelt Golf Course benefits Brody’s Fund, a charity named after Brendon and Tiffany Crozier’s angel baby. The fund covers the medical and burial costs for local families who experience infant loss which averages about 8 families per year. Since its inception, over 70 families have received financial assistance through Brody’s Fund, allowing them to grieve without added financial stress. This year’s tournament had 288 players that enjoyed a day of golf, delicious food, and extra activities. Thanks to the generosity of all involved, a check for $34,500 dollars was presented to Brody’s Fund. Uintah Basin Healthcare Marketing Manager Kyson Snow said they were humbled and amazed by the generosity shown. Learn more about this cause at www.ubh.org/brodys-fund.
