Authorities have confirmed that the body of the missing Roosevelt woman was located on Tuesday in the Vernal area. A post from the woman’s husband began circulating on social media on Monday asking for the public’s help and requesting prayers for her safe return. On Wednesday morning, Vernal PD shared the following: On October 7, 2024, Kimberly Hyde was reported as a missing person to the Roosevelt City Police Department. On October 8th, a vehicle registered to Kimberly Hyde was located in the Vernal area. Investigators discovered an adult female who was deceased inside the vehicle. The deceased female was transported to the Office of the Medical Examiner for positive identification and further investigation. The cause and manner of death is currently under investigation, and further details will be forthcoming. Roosevelt City Police Department shared on Wednesday morning that, at this time, they believe there is no ongoing threat to the public.
