Blood Drive at the Uintah County Library

by | Oct 8, 2019 | News | 0 comments

The efforts of the American Red Cross are definitely not a mystery to the general public.  They hold about 500 blood drives every day. Part of the effort is because less than 38 percent of the U.S. population is eligible to give blood or platelets while 6.8 million people are in need of blood in the United States alone. One donation can potentially save up to three lives. Those in the Vernal area have the chance to save lives through donating blood. The Uintah County Library is hosting a blood drive today in their meeting room. Come by anytime between from 1pm to 6pm to donate this much needed life saving necessity.
