The Big Draw Fire continues to see minimal activity and is now 50 percent contained. Utah Fire Info shared on Wednesday evening that the fire, which has burned 457 acres, will be staffed today by the Black Mountain Hotshots, a squad from the Flaming Gorge Wildland Fire Module, as well as three Type II hand crews, a U.S. Forest Service engine crew, and a helicopter. Firefighters from the Bureau of Indian Affairs and municipal fire departments from the area will also be on hand. As containment increases, fire officials expect to reassign firefighters to other incidents and, barring any significant changes, do not plan to provide ongoing updates.
