Choo Choo! All aboard the Basin Giving Train! A new Facebook page focused on spreading generosity in the Uintah Basin leading up to Christmas has exploded online. In just one week the page has accumulated 6,035 members and allowed for a forum where businesses and families alike can offer free services ranging from crafty gifts to grocery money. Tammy Rasmussen started the site on December 12th and was overwhelmed when it took off overnight. “I am seriously overwhelmed by gratitude,” she shared after the first day. “When I started this page yesterday I had hoped for this but never imagined it would be this big this fast. I love the Basin and the love and generosity those of the Basin have.” For those that haven’t hopped on board yet, it’s worth giving the Basin Giving Train a ride.
