A favorite annual event is coming up and being held in Fort Duchesne this year. Badges & Bobbers is being held on June 1st at Little Montes Reservoir where DWR and local law enforcement officers will enjoy some fishing with local youth 17 years old and younger. Water, snacks and fishing gear will be provided and the young anglers can choose to catch and release or keep the fish they catch. Youth 12 and up will need a valid fishing license to participate. This is the fourth annual Badges & Bobbers event in the Uintah Basin. The very first Badges & Bobbers event was held in 2019 at the Old Fort community fishing ponds in Uintah County.
