A fatal ATV accident took place on Monday afternoon in Uintah County. According to the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office, on September 25th, at approximately 2:20pm, first responders were called to the area of 6500 East 6750 South on an ATV accident. A 14-year-old girl from Jensen was traveling westbound on 6750 South in a side-by-side when it went off the shoulder of the roadway and onto its side. The girl sustained fatal injuries as a result of the accident. At this time the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
