Felony charges have been filed in a case of assault that allegedly occurred on Halloween night in Uintah County. According to the Probable Cause Statement, 55-year-old Donald Samuel Wade was arrested after officers responded to a caller that said Wade pointed a firearm at them and said he would kill them, in addition to punching the complainant in the face resulting in injury. When questioned by officers Wade claimed to be someone else. Officers, however, were able to confirm his identity as Donald Wade and found that he was in possession of a firearm as well as methamphetamine. Wade is a category II restricted person due to former drug convictions. He was arrested and is charged with 3rd Degree Felony Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm by a Restricted Person, as well as Misdemeanor drug, assault, and other charges.
