Ashley Regional Medical Center has been nationally recognized yet again. Ashley Regional has been awarded an ‘A’ in the spring 2020 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade, shares a Thursday press release. Safety Grades are assigned to hospitals across the country every 6 months focused on hospitals that prevent medical errors. “Patient care and safety have been and will continue to be a top priority,” shares Greg Gardiner, chief clinical officer at Ashley Regional Medical Center. “This recognition and congratulations goes directly to our staff. Our nurses, physicians and providers work tirelessly to provide high quality care to patients and our community. It’s important work and it’s incredible to be recognized with our fourth consecutive ‘A’ grade.” The president and CEO of The Leapfrog Group, Leah Binder, says that she hopes this ‘A’ offers a thank you to those who work and volunteer for Ashley Regional Medical Center.
