The report card is in. Ashley Regional Medical Center has earned an ‘A’ Hospital Safety Grade from an independent national watchdog. The Leapfrog Group analyzes performance measures that reflect errors, accidents, injuries, and infections and the hospital’s plans in place to prevent them. “Earning an ‘A’ grade shows the team’s commitment to the highest level of patient safety, quality and satisfaction,” shares Alan Olive, CEO of Ashley Regional Medical Center. “Serving the Basin is an honor, and this recognition is due to the patient-first care that the physicians, providers, nurses and staff provide every day.” Leah Binder, president and CEO of The Leapfrog Group, says that Ashley Regional’s ‘A’ rating reflects enormous dedication to the patients and families served. The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is the only hospital ratings program focused solely on preventable medical errors, infections, and injuries.
