Ashley Regional Medical Center announced on Monday that a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) has been appointed for the organization. According to their Monday press release, new CEO Wesley Taylor comes to ARMC from Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, Arizona where Taylor has served as Chief Operating Officer since 2017. “We are thrilled to welcome Wes into his new role as CEO of Ashley Regional,” shares Sandra Podley, president of LifePoint Health’s Western Division, of which ARMC is a part. “Wes is a great healthcare leader. He has tremendous operational expertise paired with a commitment to quality care and a dedication to community. We are confident that he is the right leader to take Ashley Regional into the future.” Taylor has had a long career in healthcare which began at University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from BYU and a master’s degree in health care administration from University of Minnesota. “We’re excited to welcome [Wes] to Vernal and to partner with him to create the next chapter in Ashley Regional’s future,” shares Allen Parker, chair of the ARMC Board of Trustees. As for himself, Taylor says he is excited to make the move to Utah and is looking forward to exploring new ways to make Vernal and the surrounding communities healthier.
