Ashley National Forest Welcomes New Forest Supervisor

Ashley National Forest has welcomed new Forest Supervisor Susan Eickhoff. She has served with the Forest Service for 30 years in such roles as District Wildlife Biologist, Ecosystem Biologist, NEPA Contract Coordinator, District Ranger and, recently, Acting Deputy Forest Supervisor on the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre, and Gunnison National Forests and Acting Forest Supervisor on the Shoshone National Forest. For the last seven years she was the District Ranger in Cody, Wyoming for the Shoshone National Forest. “I am honored and excited to have been selected to lead the Ashley National Forest,” shares Ms. Eickhoff. “It’s a privilege to be part of an organization that believes in high quality public service and responsibly managing natural resources. I look forward to connecting with employees, our partners and communities, enabling all of us to make a positive difference on the land.” The Uintah Basin welcomes Supervisor Eickhoff to the area and wish her luck in serving our local treasure.
