Renovations on the Ashley National Forest service offices are well underway. Work on all the offices include upgrading and replacing wiring, drywall, plumbing, door replacement, and floor replacement. Work will soon begin on the Vernal Office which is scheduled to close
on Monday, September 18th.
“During this closure, information such as travel maps will be available at other offices such as the Utah Department of Wildlife Resources and local sporting goods stores,” shares the announcement. “Firewood permits will be available through Davis Food and Drug in Vernal.” During renovation, there will be no access to the office on Highway 191. Construction is expected to be complete by
December 8th.
