Ashley National Forest announced what areas are opening up with spring. Sheep Creek Bay boat launch is open on the Flaming Gorge. Please be cautious of any floating ice in the area. Please check the Utah Department of Wildlife Resources fishing report for the latest information. Also, as of last Wednesday, the high turn into Forest Service Road 218 off of Highway 44 on the Flaming Gorge closest to the Summit Springs Guard Station has been plowed to the gate. There is parking available at the kiosk for snow mobile access. At the kiosk the snow measures just shy of 36″.
