Ashley National Forest has a message for hunters: please do not park vehicles on roadways. This applies “even if it is a two track road as other vehicles such as our logging trucks may be using the road you are on.” Ashley National Forest shared a photo on their Facebook page showing a vehicle parked in the middle of a road that blocked access for a log truck headed to the forest’s timber sale. “Please park off the road and do not block gates at any time,” they share. “In other instances vehicles have parked blocking access through gates or access points to ATV trails. Please be responsible and park where you will not impede the flow of traffic if someone should want to pass your vehicle or need access to areas behind locked gates.”
