Sometimes we need to slow down in our busy lives and take a moment to appreciate the work, effort, and time of those who take care of our outdoors. The rangers of the Ashley National Forest are reminding the public to stay on the designated roads and trails on park lands. This reminder is timely as the hunting season is almost here and hunters should remember that there is no cross-country travel allowed on forest land for the retrieval of big game animals. Be sure to pack out kills and avoid creating unauthorized routes. It falls on the public to help the forest to sustain ATV access on designated roads and trails.
