Ashley National Forest has a new Forest Supervisor. Kristy Groves has been selected as the Forest Supervisor and begins her position on July 14th. She is currently serving as Acting Forest Supervisor and was the District Ranger for the Duchesne/Roosevelt Ranger District on the Ashley National Forest for the last 13 years. “I am honored to have been selected to lead the Ashley National Forest,” shares Groves. “It is a privilege to be part of an organization that believes in high quality public service and responsibly managing natural resources. I am excited to connect with employees, the Ute Tribe, our partners and communities, in this new role while continuing the progress we have made on the forest.” Groves replaces Susan Eickhoff who served as the Forest Supervisor since August 2020 and who took a new assignment in the Regional Office early this year.
