A project getting underway this month could impact travel at times in Naples City. The Ashley Central Irrigation Company’s piping project on 2500 South from Highway 40 to approximately 3000 East will begin next week, shares an announcement from Naples City. BHI, the contractor on the project, shares that the work will start at the south end of the project in the Naples 2500 South area. The work will progress as far west and north as possible before water is turned on in the spring of 2025. “When the water stops in the fall of 2025, BHI will resume their efforts to finish the project at the head gate off of Ashley Creek. There will be operations happening throughout the summer of 2025 along most of the canal.” Those that live in Naples can reach out with questions to City Manager Mike Davis at 435-789-9090.
