Rotary Club of Vernal Distributing Free Winter Coats and Apparel on Saturday

The weather has been changing and it is time to get out the cold weather gear. For those running short on coats and other winter apparel for this coming season, Saturday is an opportunity to get coats and other gear. Every year the Rotary Club of Vernal holds a winter coat drive. This year, the Rotary Club coordinated with many local businesses and agencies to be donation locations, including Uintah County Library, Ooh La La & Friends, Basin Flood and Fire, Davis Food and Drug, Downtown Auto Group, State Farm Insurance, and the Vernal Christian Church. After many months of gathering and organizing new and gently used coats, all are invited to the Vernal Christian Church to come get free winter apparel as well as some hot chocolate and cookies! They hope to help as many families as possible so the entire community can stay warm this fall and winter. The event is from 10am to 2pm at the Vernal Christian Church this Saturday.
