COVID-19 Transmission Index and Update (9/16-9/22)

As of Thursday, September 16th, TriCounty Health Department reported 6,633 total COVID-19 cases in the tri-county area to date, an increase of 89 new cases from the day before. According to Thursday’s data, there are currently 1,084 active cases. Over the past seven days the tri-county area has seen 22 new COVID-19 related hospitalizations and two new COVID-19 related deaths. The COVID-19 Transmission Index reports Duchesne County and Uintah County at the High Transmission Index Level and Daggett County at the Low Level. Uintah County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 20 percent and there were 400 cases in the past 14 days, Duchesne County was 25 percent with 307 cases, and Daggett County was 8 percent with 5 cases.
