By Kristin Forbis, Jul 20, 2021
Naples City’s hunt for a new City Manager is wrapping up very quickly as well as the open Administrative Secretary position. Both jobs opened on June 21st and are closing on July 22nd. Those interested in applying should submit a Naples City Job Application, copies of the required certifications, a resume, criminal background check and three references to Naples City, attention Mayor Dean Baker. The items can also be emailed to mayor@Naples.utah.gov. Mayor Baker says after the 22nd they plan to narrow down the applicants, make contacts for interviews, and hopefully find the right applicant. Once hired, the City Manager has two years to become a permanent resident of Naples City. Joshua Bake gave his notice as Naples City Manager in June after signing a contract with Roosevelt City to serve as their City Manager. Bake had served as Naples City Manager since 2014.
