Uintah and Duchesne Counties Remain at High COVID Index Level (7/15 - 7/21)

There are now 13 counties in the state of Utah in the high COVID-19 Transmission Index level and Uintah County and Duchesne County are among them. Daggett County remains at the Low level. According to Thursday’s press release, Uintah County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 21 percent and there were 198 cases in the past 14 days, Duchesne County was 16 percent and there were 43 cases, and Daggett County was 0 percent with 0 cases. Statewide total ICU utilization was 79 percent and the 7-day COVID-19 utilization was 19 percent. The report shows locally 18 new COVID-19 related hospitalizations in the past seven days and 0 new COVID-19 deaths.
