Tri-County Area COVID-19 Transmission Level Update

For another week the counties in the TriCounty Health District will stay at the same COVID-19 Transmission Index Levels. Uintah County and Duchesne County remain at the High Transmission Level and Daggett County is in the Low Transmission Level. According to a Thursday press release from TriCounty Health Department, Uintah County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 26 percent and there were 321 cases in the past 14 days. Duchesne County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 22 percent and there were 151 cases in the past 14 days. Daggett County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 15 percent and there were 8 cases in the past 14 days. Over the past 7 days the tri-county area as a whole had 13 COVID-19 related hospitalizations and 2 new COVID-19 related deaths. Statewide total ICU utilization is 88 percent, shares TriCounty Health, and the 7-day COVID-19 utilization is 41 percent.
