Tri-County Area COVID-19 Transmission Level Update

The counties in the TriCounty Health District will remain at the same COVID-19 Transmission Index Levels for at least another week. Uintah County and Duchesne County remain at the High Transmission Level and Daggett County is in the Low Transmission Level. According to a Wednesday press release from TriCounty Health Department, Uintah County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 25 percent and there were 320 cases in the past 14 days. Duchesne County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 21 percent and there were 185 cases in the past 14 days. Daggett County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 22 percent and there were 4 cases in the past 14 days. Over the past 7 days the tri-county area as a whole had 10 COVID-19 related hospitalizations and 2 new COVID-19 related deaths. Statewide total ICU utilization is 91 percent, shares TriCounty Health, and the 7-day COVID-19 utilization is 37 percent.
