Help Deck the Halls at the Villa

In many ways nursing homes have been ground zero for the COVID-19 pandemic. The Villa in Roosevelt took immediate action and have been strictly adhering to the guidelines for the resident safety. That being the case they recognize that this year, more so than any other, needs some extra holiday cheer, and they are asking the public for help. They want to have a tree and decorations for every resident. Currently they have 39 residents. Anyone that would like to donate a Christmas tree (preferably 4’ with a floor stand and pre-lit), lights and/or decorations are encouraged to contact the Villa. They are also trying to do 12 days of Christmas for each resident so such donations as treats (commercially prepared), candy, ornaments, window clings, handmade cards or pictures, socks, and lotions are appreciated. Unfortunately, the public is not allowed in the building but a drop-off can be arranged and should be done by December 7th.
