New Manager Selected for Vernal Regional Airport

A new Manager has been selected for the Vernal Regional Airport. The position opened up last May when Manager Doug Brown announced his resignation after accepting a new career opportunity in Wisconsin. In June, it was announced that Vernal City would be taking over management of the airport from the Uintah Transportation Special Service District. After several months of looking for a new Manager, Vernal City has announced that the search is over. “We had significant interest in the Airport Manager position,” shares Vernal City Manager Quinn Bennion. “We held two rounds of interviews and selected a strong candidate. Ken Campbell starts October 12th as the new Manager. He grew up in Vernal and had a military career as an Army helicopter pilot.”
