AP&P Compliance Check Reveals Drugs And Stock of Dangerous Weapons

A Duchesne County man is now facing new felony charges after an Adult Probation and Parole compliance search of his residence last week. During the search, officers located a Henry US Survival .22 caliber rifle which allows all components to be stored in the stock of the gun when not assembled. A range bag containing a variety of ammo was found. As the search progressed, knives which were longer than 6 inches in length were found hidden in multiple rooms. A Ruger 380 pistol with ammo in the magazine was also recovered from the vehicle at the property as was illegal drugs. As a result, 39-year-old Jashua Allen Tait was arrested on November 7th for the offenses of 4 counts of felony Possession of a Dangerous Weapon by a Restricted Person and Possession of a Controlled Substance, as well as misdemeanor drug related charges.
