October is pregnancy and infant loss awareness month. As in year’s past, Ashley Regional is proud to host the Utah Angel Dash at Naples City Park in partnership with Ashley Valley Funeral Home. This is a one mile memorial walk with all proceeds going to Rachel’s Gift. We invite parents and their family to come together with others in the community who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth or infant death. Individuals may participate in-person on October 21st or virtually. All proceeds benefit Rachel’s Gift which provides bereavement items, resources, follow up, and support groups for families experiencing miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant death. Rachel’s Gift also provides education for hospital staff to aid them in compassionately and comprehensively guiding patients through the initial hours of infant loss.
