A young cowboy from Altamont continues to find success on the rodeo circuit. 20-year-old Cash Robb won hearts a year ago after a major win in steer wrestling at the Days of ‘47 rodeo. It’s no surprise then, with his continued success since then, that the Cowboy Channel invited him to join in some commentary during Cheyenne Frontier Days over the weekend. Robb is in the number 15 spot in the World Standings for steer wrestling and has earnings this season of over $50,000 dollars. That puts him in the lead spot for the Resistol Rookie of the Year honor with a $25,000 dollar lead over the number 2 guy. The cowboy sensation got his start as a National High School Rodeo Association champ, Ote Berry’s Junior Steer Wrestling World Championship tour champ, as well as a World Champions Rodeo Alliance winner. It is no surprise this Altamont cowboy is being watched as a real hopeful for the National Finals Rodeo coming up in Las Vegas in December.
