A favorite Ladies Night Out event has announced their plans for this year’s fundraiser that is all about fighting human trafficking. This year’s Ladies Night Out event has a special meaning with the theme ‘Aloha for Rapha!’ Now in its 10th year, this is a throwback to year one of raising funds for Rapha House with the fun Hawaiian luau theme. Rapha International has safe houses in Cambodia, Thailand, and Haiti, as well as three “Kids Club” locations that work to prevent trafficking. Katy Cundall considers the Uintah Basin her home but her heart has at least dual citizenship as she has made countless trips with family and friends overseas to visit the safe houses and volunteer in many capacities to support Rapha’s life saving work. “As we become more aware of the devastation of human trafficking, and especially the trafficking of children, I think we can all agree how important it is to support organizations that are working so hard to end it,” shares Cundall. “We can’t all be on the front lines, but giving generously helps the work to continue, and ensures more children will be rescued and helped.” Tickets are now on sale for the April 26th ‘Aloha for Rapha’ event and can be linked to through the Ladies Night Out Vernal Facebook page or with the link provided with this news story on BasinNow.com.
