A man being arrested on outstanding warrants has added new felony drug charges to the offenses being faced in 8th District Court. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, 27-year-old Zachary Ralph Nodal had checked into a hotel on West Main Street in Vernal last week when officers learned where he was and that he had 2 active warrants out for his arrest. A search of the room after the arrest revealed drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine, among other illegal substances. In recent years, Nodal has been convicted multiple times for possession of dangerous drugs. He is scheduled for an initial appearance in 8th District Court on May 13th.
