Everyone needs help and there’s a local organization that wants to be a source of help for those suffering from addiction. The Addicts II Athletes is a community support group aimed at replacing addiction with healthy recreation, service, family, relationships and love. The program wants individuals to work on not identifying as an addict. It might be a part of them but is not who they are. Free meetings and subsequent 1 hour workout, is held every Wednesday and Saturday night at 6pm at Vernal Crossfit. Addicts II Athletes is also having a fundraising event to help pay expenses of members participating in various athletic events around the state. Tickets are $20 dollars with a dinner provided by Hideout Steak House, a raffle, and auction at the Uintah Conference Center on November 14th.
