A major travel publication has counted Dinosaur National Monument on a very exclusive list. The Quarry Exhibit Hall is number 4 on the AARP list of ‘5 World-Class Museums at National Parks’. The other powerhouse exhibits on the list are the Ellis Island National Museum, Gettysburg National Military Park Museum, the Museum at Grand Canyon National Park, and the Research Center at Mesa Verde National Park. The National Park System includes more than 400 sites across the country and manages one of the world’s largest museum systems, housing more than 100 million objects, artifacts, and archives that are part of America’s natural and cultural history.
