This weekend is expected to be a major travel time. The AAA travel forecast estimates that 115 million Americans are expected to travel over Christmas and New Year’s which is the 2nd highest year-end travel forecast since the year 2000. “This year-end holiday forecast, with an additional 2.5 million travelers compared to last year, mirrors what AAA Travel has been observing throughout 2023,” shares Paula Twidale, AAA Senior VP. “More Americans are investing in travel, despite the cost, to make memories with loved ones and experience new places.”
