Uintah School District Resumes Board Adopted Schedule

With cases of COVID-19 dropping, local schools are ready to get back to a more normal schedule. Uintah School District announced that on Friday, March 4th, Uintah schools will return to the Friday schedule adopted by the Uintah School Board for the 2021-2022 school year. Starting March 4th, the district will resume the two-hour in-person learning block option for remediation and/or enrichment. “In late January, the district moved all Friday learning online due to the prevalence of COVID-19 in its schools and in the community. Data now shows a decrease in parent excused absences for students due to illness. The number of school staff calling in sick has also declined while the availability of substitutes has increased. Given these changes, students who wish to come to school on Fridays under the original schedule adopted for the 2021-22 school year can do so starting March 4th.” Students still have the option to complete their Friday work online.
