In person jury trials are starting back up since the pandemic put them on hold and the 2nd jury trial to be held in Uintah County post 2020 was held last week. 72-year-old Roger D. Heywood was found Guilty on February 11th of 1st Degree Felony Aggravated Sexual Abuse of a Child by a jury in 8th District Court. The jury trial started on February 10th and included testimony from the victim and family members. Heywood is in custody of the Uintah County Jail and his sentencing is scheduled for March 28th.
