The window to file for candidacy has been moved up from the original dates of March 7th through March 11th. “SB 170, which was passed and signed by the Governor on February 14th, changed the candidate declaration filing period for the General 2022 elections,” shares the Utah Republican Party. “The period for declaring candidacy for the 2022 general election is [now] Monday, February 28th through Friday, March 4th at 5PM.
