The best and brightest will be in attendance at the Uintah Basin Emergency Care Conference this weekend. Uintah County Emergency Manager Heidi Lundberg presented at the Vernal Chamber luncheon last week about the amazing offerings of Emergency Management. The mission of Emergency Management is to “provide leadership and support to prevent or minimize the impact of major emergencies and disasters on the health, safety and property of the citizens of Uintah County, their businesses and environment through a comprehensive integrated emergency management program.” This weekend’s conference continues the training of emergency care personnel with classes, speakers, and competitions.
