The Sweetwater County mother and her 4-year-old son who were rescued from a house fire by a passerby last week are recovering at University of Utah hospital and fundraising efforts are underway to help the family move forward. The GoFundMe fundraiser is titled ‘Wadsworth Family benefit’. The latest update states that the mother received the worst burns and is being treated in the U of U burn center with a long road of recovery ahead. The 4-year-old also sustained burns but is overall doing well. Both are considered lucky to be alive considering they only made it out thanks to the courage of a passerby that entered the burning home and was able to pull them out. The family’s home was a total loss in the fire and the family lost all their possessions. Anyone wanting to make a donation can visit https://www.gofundme.com/f/
