It is always devastating to hear that a child has gone missing but thankfully an incident that occurred Sunday evening in Uintah County had a positive conclusion. Uintah County Sheriff’s Office issued the call for the public’s help on Sunday sharing on social media that a 10-year-old had walked away from her home in Ballard at approximately 7:45 p.m. The girl was not dressed for the conditions, wearing pajamas and a jacket when last seen. At around midnight, the Sheriff’s Office reported that thankfully the 10-year-old had been located and was in good condition.
