A local man is receiving some much deserved recognition for the difference he makes in the lives of local youth. John Robertson was nominated for the Lieutenant Governor’s Volunteer Service Award and anyone that knows him is not surprised to learn that he won! The Uintah Basin Association of Governments shares: “Johnny is a Foster Grandparent who works with older children in the Teen Room at the Uintah County Library. He helps kids with their homework, assists kids struggling with study concepts, and offers a friendly ear for kids who just need someone to listen to them. Johnny has been a Foster Grandparent for 4 years and has helped countless children in that time. We are so very proud of John and the AMAZING work he does in the community!” Thank you John Robertson for your example of service in our community.
