TriCounty Health Department has some straightforward tips for staying healthy during the winter months. Health Coordinator Daniel Jackson explains that eating healthy and staying active goes a long way. Adding in a mix of muscle strengthening exercises and some cardio exercise can have great benefits. Squats, lunges, stretching, pushups, planks, and getting steps in can all be done without equipment. Eating well also contributes to good health. Jackson recommends implementing herbs to your diet as they can have strong healing properties.
