The demand for large scale murals has only grown in recent months with the artists also doing their own private projects in what spare time might be left. Artists Jordan Clark of Ninty1 Designs, Tonya Merrell of TM Art, Celissa Hatch, Lyndee Johnston, and Izen Merrell have loved working together and adding to the local art scene. Some of their recent mural locations include L&L Motor, Cedar Bear, Black Lights Ignite, Ashley Valley Veterinary Clinic, Buckskin Hills office, Vernal Chiropractic, Advanced Towing, and Glazed and Grilled. They have also had projects in Roosevelt, including Willis Arcade, and several upcoming out of state, including a large project in Rangely. At present they have been working on murals at Esquire RV and Marsens in Vernal and are busy enough they have work booked well into next year. Two years ago, these artists and this community had no idea how much character massive amounts of paint would add to our community. This may be a rare case of something good that came from the pandemic.
