With the CDC announcement recommending the Pfizer vaccine for children 5 to 11 years old, TriCounty Health is holding drive thru vaccine clinics to accomodate families interested in getting the vaccine. There will be four clinics held over the next two weeks in locations throughout the Uintah Basin. “We would like to make it as easy as possible for anyone who wants a vaccine for themselves or their children to be able to do so,” shares TriCounty Health Director Kirk Benge. “The Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will also be available for anyone who wants a first, second or booster shot.” Clinics will be held Monday, November 8th, at the health department in Vernal; Wednesday, November 10th, at USU in Roosevelt; Monday, November 15th, at Duchesne High School; and Wednesday, November 17th, at the Manila Clinic. Each drive thru clinic is scheduled from 3pm to 6pm and minors must have a parent or guardian present to give consent.
