Calling all interested in preserving local history! Do you want to help save Vernal and Uintah County’s historic homes and sites? Uintah County’s Director of Library and Museum Services Sam Passey invites you to consider joining the Uintah County Historic Preservation Board. The time commitment involves one meeting every other month. Passey hopes to get the Historic Preservation Board going again with a focus on securing grant money to save and repair awesome old homes in Uintah County. “Having a board is key in helping us access grant funding to save historic homes and educate people about unique places,” shares Passey. Forms can be picked up in the Uintah County Commission Office for those interested in getting involved.
