The fourth season of Hotel Vernal Haunt is halfway through and it, so far, is the event’s biggest year to date. The Fear Haunt is receiving great reviews which is no surprise considering the fact that there are 80 dedicated volunteers that come together to deliver a scary and fun experience for guests. Kenzy Anderson has been volunteering with acting, scaring, and makeup for the Haunt from the beginning and if there is one thing he’ll say about the group behind the scenes, it is that they are like a big family. “Every night I walk in, I feel the rush of everyone there,” shares Kenzy. “To run the entire event every night takes an army of people, and you definitely feel the force of every volunteer there. To see small children and ‘very mature adults’ working together, laughing and scaring is the best thing a person could do this time of year,” he shares.
