COVID-19 Transmission Index and Update (10/14-10/20)

As of Thursday, October 14th, TriCounty Health Department reported 7,909 total COVID-19 cases in the tri-county area to date, an increase of 47 new cases from the day before and reaching a total of 63 deaths to date. According to Thursday’s data, there are currently 857 active cases which continues the downward trend. Over the past seven days, the tri-county area has seen 22 new COVID-19 related hospitalizations and 2 new COVID-19 related deaths. The COVID-19 Transmission Index reports Duchesne County and Uintah County at the High Transmission Index Level and Daggett County at the Low Level. Uintah County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 20 percent and there were 308 cases in the past 14 days, Duchesne County was 19 percent with 222 cases, and Daggett County was 42 percent with 14 cases.
