Two new services were announced for Uintah County Library patrons. Uintah County Library is now offering two premier genealogy databases free of charge. First is Newspapers.com, a site that offers full-text access to newspaper archives from around the world. This service currently has the largest online newspaper archive with over 21,600 newspapers from the 1700’s to 2000’s. The second service is Fold 3, a quality online source for researching those that have served in the United States Military. It offers access to military records, including the stories, photos, and personal documents of the men and women who served. It should be noted that Newspaper.com is only available within the library. Fold 32 works anywhere. All one needs is their library card number.
